Yes, this is a lift kit for a van…and before you ask yourself why, the real question should be “how long before I can get it installed!” :-}
The real reason we made this kit is that I WANT A STARIA…I can’t have one, but all of you Down Under, In NZ, in Africa etc etc well you guys can…I would love a 4×4 diesel van with a manual but I can’t get one…I can’t get a Staria, I am jealous….
I was asked a couple years ago if we could lift one, and while it took a bit to figure out this is the kit for your Hyundai Staria…
C’mon, nobody ‘really’ wants a daily driver van…they are not the car you put on your wall as a little kid and dream about owning…we all know that, but we all KNOW they are the best thing since sliced bread, the best thing since disposable diapers, the best thing since cold beer after a hard days work in the sun…
If you have kids, pets or a small business an AWD/4×4 van is as practical as a raincoat in a thunderstorm and a bottle of water in the midday desert sun….
Hyundai did us all a favor and made one of the first minivans that has some style, some “I would actually drive that without my tools or the kids” in it style…it’s not a Ferrari or a Ford Ranger Raptor …but when you get it up a little taller and add some bigger tires, at least you can think of it as a workday assault vehicle, a modern version of your dad’s rattly work van or whatever your kids think is cool when your taking them to the BMX or dirtbike track…
With the kit installed now have enough ground clearance to get to the BMX track, to tackle the local park or take that gravel road to the beach…camping can now be done in more places than a Walmart parking lot, you can actually take that dirt road to your favorite lake you used to camp at before you had kids….
Your Staria will become even more practical and awesome…if you have the fully optioned luxury model then you have the perfect family vehicle…
I knew it…you can see it now…your wife parked in front of the school, sports gear in the back, car seats in the middle row and your 7 year old screaming “I don’t wanna go to football practice, I want to play Minecraft mom”…but you smile as your wife slams the Staria over the curb, jumping it ever so slightly but just enough to make the kids laugh, scream and generally think mom is a badass…just like Charlize Theron in the Mad Max movie…
